WinSched is an application launcher designed for Windows operating systems (2000, 2000 Server, XP, 2003 Server). The application is used to execute applications/batch files/scripts in situations where the operating system's scheduled launching ability is inadequate.
If you create a script to automate a task and one of the stages involves a GUI application, you may find that when you schedule the task, the script no longer works. If this is caused because the visual application cannot function when no users are logged in on the machine, then try WinSched.
WinSched runs as a service, so continues to run if no users are logged in, or the machine is restarted. WinSched can also be configured to run as an AD or local user. WinSched Readme
